Preparation Work

Technology

Technical section shall check and review the drawings upon receiving the construction drawings, understand the design drawings and verify the specification and quantity of the materials to be used; propose the new processes for the project difficulties, make records and analyze carefully. The design unit and our company shall perform joint review on the construction drawings if necessary, and the designer shall perform technical disclosure on technical personnel. Technical section should list the rolled steel for the project and prepare the corresponding stock list for purchasing in time and laying a good foundation for the smooth completion of the project. 


Technical department shall perform lofting (performed by AotuCAD) for the steel structure with the structure axis of the construction drawing as the reference. The lofting can be divided into two types: one is lofting of geometric size of the structure; another is the lofting of the joint and shape of the structural parts. The respective purpose of the two types of lofting is to verify the installation dimension of the construction drawing and the installation joint; such as whether there's any collision between the components or parts on the joint, whether the component dimension and structure installation dimension are correct, etc. The lofting of the shape of the structural parts mainly refers to the out-of-shape connecting plates or the connecting plates requiring strict assembly position and angle. 


Technical Department (section by section from bottom to top of the tower) shall prepare parts manufacturing processing cards and component diagrams based on the construction drawing after lofting, and indicate the standard and geometric dimension of the material, as well as its processing type, procedure, accuracy, tolerance and other necessary description (such as measures to avoid welding deformation) etc. and classify, number the card, then verify, review and approve, and prepare for putting into production, to facilitate the coordination between different work types and procedures. 


Supply

Purchasing section should timely purchase raw materials carefully upon receiving the project stock list. The physical and chemical laboratory shall perform physical and chemical inspection on the raw materials and make corresponding records. The qualified material should be put in storage and stored by classifying, and the storage ledger should be maintained. Make adequate preparations for the smooth completion of the project.


Process 
Process section should prepare corresponding process documents based on the distributed construction drawings, such as assembly process, welding process and assembly processing card, and prepare the tools and equipment for assembly and welding; supervise the implementation of process documents during production, make a summary and continuously improve and perfect the production process. 


Production 

Production section shall respond timely upon receiving the distributed documents, Production Department leader is responsible for the arrangement of production plan and the supervision its implementation, determining the production schedule. Parts processing is mainly performed in machining and welding workshop, and the material staging area in the workshop. The qualified parts after processing shall be classified by the operation department indicated in the processing card and shall be shifted to the material staging area of the workshop. The material preparation leader shall arrange relevant personnel to check the parts and deliver to the stock supporting shelf in the riveting area according to the plan. The riveter shall check the parts according to the standard and quantity of the material indicated in the drawing, then perform lofting and assembly on the forming mould in accordance with the geometric dimension indicated in the drawing. The riveter shall perform self-inspection on the riveted components and if it is qualified, it can be welded only after the re-inspection performed by the professional inspector. Lift the piece to be welded to the mould, clean up the water, oil and rust 30-50mm deep in the welds and perform welding in accordance with the welding process document and welding procedure. Eliminate the coating after welding and professional inspector shall perform inspection on the welds. First perform visual inspection to confirm whether the actual dimension of the welds is conforming to the design requirements or whether there's any visible defect on the welds, such as undercut, lack of penetration, pores, nonmetallic inclusions, cracks and incompletely filled weld, etc. For important joint, welding specimen can be made to perform tensile test to determine the mechanical property. X-ray or electromagnetic wave and ultrasonic flaw detection can be used to inspect the defects inside. 


Anticorrosion 

Specially-assigned person shall be responsible for galvanization, especially pickling worker and galvanizer should guarantee each work procedure cooperates with each other closely and exercise strict control over the quality. The worker responsible for hanging should hang the qualified workpiece based on the process requirements for hanging, with the lifting tools firm and secure, lifting point rational, and then deliver to the entering station. Counting personnel shall check the content, quantity, part number and project code, which must be consistent with the plan, and the group leader shall perform inspection on the workpiece, including: whether there's any deformation, whether there's galvanization process hole and with correct position, whether there's any bruise mark, coating and welding spatter cleaned up and existing gas deduction and liquid leakage, etc. In case there's any defect, arrange to correct to avoid the occurrence of accidents. In case the workpiece is qualified in quantity and quality, get ready to enter hot galvanizing stage. The counting personnel shall hand over the quantity, part number, cage number, list name, galvanizing plan and project code with the receiving and dispatching personnel, and the group leader shall hand over with the pickling worker about quality, with the quality standard the same as the delivery standard. The galvanized workpieces shall be inspected by special inspectors and corresponding quality inspection test records shall be kept. Deformation may happen to the components after hot galvanizing. In order to the guarantee the quality, the welding workpiece shall be tested and corrected, after which the qualified components can be transferred to the finished products warehouse and get ready for packaging and delivering. 


Package 

There are strict requirements on the package. At first the packaging workers shall be trained and guided specially and the execution of the packaging process is strictly required. The package shall be secure and thick to prevent bumps. 


Delivery 

The delivery shall be subject to the delivery plan and in batches. Special personnel shall be assigned to be in charge of the delivering and handling the procedures. more delivering vehicles and personnel may be added according to the progress of works.
